Our Big News!!

Call me a little superstitous... I am not sure... but I have found it hard to tell people this time around... I think it must be because it will be the last time ever that I am in this condition so I was even more anxious this time round...

Yep we are expecting another baby... and this will be baby Number 3. I am now 20 weeks along.. and bubs is due on the 15th December...

Today we had the morphology scan... and everything looks great... This time around we also decided to find out what we were having... however, this didn't go to plan!!! Bubs didn't want us to know.. and had straddled the umbillical cord.. and effectively hidden EVERYTHING...

So we don't know...another surprise baby!!

In this photo bub's is actually sucking it's thumb... it isn't as clear in the picture but it was really clear at the ultrasound..

Adrian and Michelle's Lightning Visit

Adrian and Michelle visited us for a long weekend... so we planned lots of things...

On the High Seas in Darwin Harbour!!

John organised to take us out on one of his new boats on Darwin Harbour and the boys were finally able to wear their bright yellow life jackets... It was a warm day but slightly windy... we put the boat in at the Tipperary Wharf... a lovely protected boat ramp... until you move around the corner away from the Mangroves... where it became SOO rough out on the Harbour!!!

Aidan LOVED it...

He found his sea legs instantly, he was in his element taking to the waves and the rough seas like a professional sailor..... But Joshie did NOT!! He lost every ounce of happiness and spent the entire time in the boat being cuddled by Michelle... looking at her boobies!!! He was completely miserable.... I wasn't too keen on the rough seas either and I am sure that Joshie would have enjoyed himself more had the seas been calm and pleasant... and I think that he is now reconsidering his love for Daddies Boats (Naval War Ships)... Aidan on the other hand .. he seemed to find his calling... loving every toss and turn, and jump through the waves... The bigger the wave the better.... and upon our return was quick to ask "if we could all do that Tomorrow!!!!"

Litchfield National Park

For the weekend we all headed down to Litchfield National Park to see the waterfalls, to swim and have some adventure.... none of us had been there before so it was all new and exciting...

Cant believe it is Wednesday!

It is already Wednesday.. this week is flying.. school holidays is almost finished.. but I am not sure where the past 4 weeks have gone... we must have been having too much fun... with our friends visiting us the first week... and then chillin out for the remainder of the holidays.

We had a great Sunday.. we went and had Fish and Chips at Stokes Wharf here in Darwin.. Great Barrumudi... Yum YUm... and then we went down to Mindal Beach to the Beer-Can Regatta.. it was a very festive atmosphere and the boys absolutely loved it.. They were straight into the ocean and chin deep in water. The water tempreture was just perfect.. I thought that they would just paddle so we weren't prepared AT ALL for a total body dip.. No towels, NO change of Clothes.. so lucky it isn't cold here in Darwin, cause the boys travelled home in the car in their wet undies!!!!!

And we have officially SOLD our house..... in Chesapeake Parade.... Our house sale was finalised or settled yesterday... and what a relief after waiting for it to settle for 6 months... So now we offically no longer own a house.. and will never return to our beautiful pergola

Territory Day

Yesterday was Territory Day... and in the Northern Territory it means FIREWORKS let off by people probably drunk... We thought about buying a few... and we thought about going down to the local council fireworks display, but after our friends leaving and heading back to Perth.. and a lazy afternoon.. we were too exhausted... and I am glad that we didn't bother... Because all the neighbours we dont know must have spent hundreds $$$ on fireworks... and we watched for FREE....

A group of people set up camp down at the local park and I was told by a neighbour that they had professional fireworks... and they were excellent... some however sounded like bombs going off and at times we felt like we were in Baghdad not Darwin... The boys were intriged, and fascinated... but didn't like the loud banging ones... or the ones that scretched...

Our Warnbro Friends Visit ... Yay

We have just had a great 5 days... Aidan and Joshies best buddies from Port Kennedy came up for a visit with their mummy and daddy... They booked their flights back in January and after almost 6 months of waiting the day came to pick them up from the airport... we were so excited and had been looking forward to their visit for such a long time... we had very high expectations of our At HOME Holiday... and it was fantastic. and everything we wanted... we all had a great time... and lots of excellent fun.. and the boys were SOOO happy to see each other again...

We are so greatful that they visited...


Aquascene... Wild Fish Feeding... this is great fun... these Catfish, Milkfish and others come in from the ocean and swim around your feet whilst you feed them.. it is great.. we all loved it. We did it for the first time just after we moved here.. but loved it so much that we just had to take our friends when they visited.... The boys all loved it... Sam and Duncan loved it...We all loved it... It was a great morning!!!

Territory Wildlife Park.. this place was good... alot to see... the kids ran wild... and loved it. Lots of turtles, birds, fish and other animals... it is a great Northern Territory Zoo... it was great and we were totally knacked at the end of the day.... Joshie tried to feed his iceblock to the wallaby!!

Howard Springs... this place is awesome and free... Barramudi swim freely and some are up to 2 metres long... we loved it here.. but the mozzies were pretty bad.. Luckily for me they found Sam tastier so I only got one or two bites.. Sam got lots!!!

Crocodile Jumping Cruise... this was awesome... the boat was small and safe, providing you didn't lean over the side!!!! The croc when they were jumping up were jumping right up above our heads and slashing us... and whacking the boat with their powerful jaws. It was great. The birds were terrific too. They are kytes.. and loved swooping down and catching meat.. they are so powerful and majestical in the air. We all LOVED this cruise.. it was just awesome... and something I recommend to anyone... CRoc's at wildlife parks arn't the same....

Im on SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

After a school term of hecticness... we can finally enjoy some holidays... Aidan and I now have 4 weeks off.. and I know that I am going to really enjoy every day...

Aidan has loved school and I am sure he isn't too sure what school holidays means just yet and that come Monday he will be ready to put on his school uniform and head off to school again.. but I know that Mummy will be happy to be staying home and resting. The past 4 months attending uni and doing my school prac and assignments as well as living day to day life has meant that life definetly has been busy.... But now I can rest, look forward to our friends arriving next week and finally do some SCRAPPING... YaY....

I have joined in a scrapbooking competition over a Mystical Scrapbooks, called Game ON and its inspired by Board Games... last week was Connect Four and this week it was Monopoly. The challenges have so far been good, and in both challenges I have used LOTs of PAINT... I am loving paint right now... There isn't too many Scrapping Shopsin Darwin and being busy like I have been has also meant that I haven't had a chance to go the few shops that there is... so NO Scrapping Shopping for me recently... sob sob... so I am low on resources so to overcome that I have been having Fun with Paint.. and so far I am loving it.

This is my layout for Challenge 1: Connect 4... had to use either blue or red (I used both), 4 photos, 4 connecting circlesMy layout for Challenge 2: MOnopoly.... I will upload this layout tomorrow... when the glue has dried!!!

This next layout is my first attempt at the Monopoly Challenge... but I forgot to put the word Go or Chance in the title... so I had to redo it as I liked this layout and didn't want to alter the title I already had, and risk ruining the layout.

This last layout is for Word.pictures... I kind of like it... I wasn't too sure how it was going to turn out... I used one of our Enchanted Scrapbooking packs from April for it...

That is pretty much all. We are now just looking forward to Thursday. Aidan and Joshie's best mates from Port Kennedy are getting here with their mummy and Daddy.. and we are so looking forward to it. We have a jam packed number of days planned... lets hope I can cope!!

And I have some exciting news... but that will be revealed later in the week...

Cherio.. I hope everyone has a good weekend and week ahead... I know I will ..... I am on school holidays... those words just sound wonderful... they haven't been in my vocabulary (well for me) for years... (I am not saying how many years!!! lets just say a few?) and I LOVE THEM... SCHOOL HOLIDAYS... SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ... SCHOOL HOLIDAYS...

Baby Theodore

Let me introduce my little nephew... Theodore Fredrick Robertson... or Teddy.

My Brother's fiance Emma has finally have had their baby...he was born in the early hours of yesterday morning (the 13th June 2008), 6 days late!!! .... so finally I am an aunty... Officially!!!

(and when Todd gets married on the 8th of August... I will inherit another nephew and a neice.)

Teddy is healthy and Emma, eventhough the labour was quick, was ready to go home a few hours later... So all is good...

MUM and DAD now have 3 Grandsons, I wonder if they will ever get a biological Grand Daughter????
